We have moved!!

It's so nice to be back where we belong!! The move was amazing, thanks to the help of my sweet daughter Amy, and her dear husband Ben and the strength of my strapping young son, Dustin. I have no pictures of the house to post yet, but will get on that soon. The studio has loads of space for all my "stuff". We are enjoying being close to Dustin and our friends again. I am feeling happy again.... The house is slowly getting decorated and the closets are getting organized.
I was invloved in a head on collission and am suffering the effects of that. I am having physio and massage therapy treatments. No relief yet. A young boy hit me, in my lane. Put his foot on the gas instead of the brake and came straight for me!! $11,000. damage to my nice little Honda Accord. I am a little choked. I will post a few pictures, as soon as I take some!!

We are moving!!

We have sold our house here in Okanagan Falls and we are moving to Lake Country. We will be about 15 mintues north of Kelowna, BC. We bought a brand new house!! I never thought I would have another new house in my life time!! The upstairs is an open concept with master and den on that level. The kitchen/dining and great room are combined. It has a gas stove, big walkin pantry, granite counter tops, maple cabinets and maple hardwood floors. The ensuite is gorgeous too!! The builder is finishing the basement for us. It will have a 750 square foot studio, Don will have a sound insulated music room, a guest bedroom, full bathroom and huge storage room. The house was a show home. It will be perfect for Don and I. The yard is normal size, and needs some trees. We are looking forward to this change in our lives. I have added a picture of my quilting machine. As you can see, it requires a lot of space!!

We are missing our dog Walter. Still having daily cries.

House hunting exhaustion!!

This is my husband Don, and our daughter Amy. August 18, 2008.

We had an offer on our house last week, which we accepted. We are waiting for some subjects to be removed. In the meantime we are looking for a house in Kelowna. We went through 20+ houses yesterday. What an exhausting day!!

I am looking forward to moving back to Kelowna and connecting with my friends. I am also looking forward to having Dustin pop by for dinner once in a while.

This weekend I have rented a booth at the Kelowna Show. I am getting binders and quilt samples together for that.

It has been a busy week!!

Lone Star

This was the quilt I did friday. I'm going to have to make one of these for myself!! I used a muddy brown thread to show off the quilting.
It has been a rough week, with the lose of our beloved dog, Walter. The house is empty and I have a hole in my heart. He was such a loyal friend to Don and I.

So this is going to be fun

With this blogspot I am hoping to inspire people to browse machine quilting patterns that I offer. I will post pictures of recent quilts and keep you up to date with new patterns added.
This is all new to me, so it may take a bit to familiarize myself with all the gadgets that this blogspot is capable of.
